Choosing a computer for your organization? Use the recommendations below to support reliable performance, security, and ongoing IT support.

Recommended Minimum Specifications

Other Product Lines to Consider
Other options include Dell Latitude and Precision; HP EliteBook and ProBook; Lenovo ThinkPad; business configurations of Microsoft Surface, including Surface Pro; and ASUS ExpertBook. The selected configuration should meet the specifications above.
For new business purchases, we recommend avoiding Dell Inspiron/Vostro, HP Pavilion/Envy, Lenovo IdeaPad, consumer Microsoft Surface devices, and ASUS VivoBook or consumer Zenbook models.
Support for Non-Standard Computers
We will continue making reasonable efforts to support client-provided computers. Equipment that does not meet these standards is supported on a best-effort basis.
If hardware limitations prevent effective troubleshooting or resolution, an upgrade or replacement may be necessary before further troubleshooting can continue.
